Two walking groups
At Clingendael Run & Walk we have two different groups for our walkers:
A group for somewhat elderly people or walkers and runners who are recovering from an injury or illness. This group walks in a relaxed pace with full attention to the continuing well being of the participants
A Nordic Walking group for people who like to have a somewhat more challenging exercise routine. In order to participate in this group members are first trained in the correct use of the walking poles.
The walking groups regularly perform tests to measure their condition and progress, e.g. through a 2 km UKK-test.
Get to know South Holland
One of the highlights of the walking groups is the regular Sunday walk. Every c. 3 months the group organises a long walk of c. 20km in different areas of South Holland, including a lunch stop as well as “après-walk” dinner
